Hope

I wrote this song earlier this year and today I finally "created" the music to it. =] (For those who have seen the lyrics to this song on my facebook, this is a rewritten version. It is slightly different.) 

This song is written in honor of all children and teens who suffer any type of abuse.

Especially the ones who are my friends...

Like A Sweet Melody

  Right now I am listening to some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard. It is piano instrumentals. The beauty of the music made me reflect upon beautiful things. Things like a young boy admiring his older sister, a father telling his daughter that she is beautiful, a woman holding her child for the first time. The beauty in unconditional love. The beauty of God. My God, my friend. The beauty of His everlasting, unconditional love and grace. All of these things are overwhelming to me.
  The thought of beautiful things makes me want to be beautiful too. For true beauty is not found on the outside, but on the inside. One of my favorite songs is one by Bethany Dillon, called 'Beautiful':

"I want to be beautiful, and make you stand in awe.

Look inside my heart and be amazed.

I want to hear you say who I am is quite enough"

  My new goal in life is to become a more beautiful person with every passing day. God is beautiful and if I am His daughter, shouldn't I be beautiful too? I want my life to play like a sweet melody, bringing beauty to all those who hear it.
