So I've decided to start blogging again, and from here I will be posting my updates from my mission work as well. :)
I've been enjoying my stay in the US very much! I've been able to spend much quality time with various family members and I have enjoyed having my brother, Curtis, here as well. It snowed an inch here in Tuscaloosa on Monday and my brother, cousins and I built a snowman which was featured in the Tuscaloosa Newspaper as well! :)
I received my results from my GED last week, and now I am officially graduated from high school!! Yay! I hope to try and get my learner's permit or maybe even my license very soon as well!
Next week, on the 19th, I will begin working with the ESL (English as a Second Language) at a church that some of my family members attend and I am super excited for that! It will be a weekly thing and I will be helping out as often as I can. I have also began making necklaces and hope to be making (and selling!) lots and lots of those as well!
I've been so blessed and privileged to be able to share with many friends, family members and church groups here about what God has been doing in my life.
I praise God for all the wonderful people he has placed in my life that have been such a blessing to me. I am so blessed and I've been seeing more and more every day just how good God is to me. Please continue to pray for me and also for my family who is still serving the Lord in Brazil.
May God bless you!!
Love in Christ, Amelia
